We Have A Slab!

Finally after all this time I am pleased to announce we have a slab.
Left home 30mins earlier than we normally would for kindy so we could swing past the block and sure enough they were pouring. Such a good feeling to finally see something taking shape. Not such a good feeling checking my emails and finding the progress payment sitting in my inbox (builders don't waste time do they).
Went back after kindy so Ash could have a look. They were just finishing up around 3.40pm so a good solid days work for them. Had a walk around and it looks good, they seemed to be very fussy and it shows. Nice sharp clean edges etc..
It's been a big week in our house. Ash's first week of full time kindy, first official hip hop class with Miss Michele and now a slab. Pity we're all sick with a chesty cold :-(
Now we wait. I'm guessing there will be little to no action for the next 2 weeks or so at least, but then hopefully things will start motoring along.
So weather gods you have my permission to get all the rain out of your system during this down time as I don't want you holding up the frame stage!
