Monday June 14th 2010 we discovered we finally had some action on the block, a sign!! The biggest builders sign I've ever seen in my life. Visible from the moment you enter the estate!! So they had better do a brilliant job on our house or it's really bad advertising for them.
So first thing Tuesday morning Andrew rang them to see when they were planning to start. We were advised that the 29th June was to be the day.
Sunday rolls around and it was time for our weekly trip to the block to poison all the weeds. Andrew was in bed sick so it was up to me to do a solo trip. I packed up the car and headed down there, only to discover to my surprise and delight that they had already been out and cut the site! So no poisoning required although I did then have to make another trip to go home and pick up Andrew & the kids to take them to see it. So finally 15 months after we bought the block and 10 months since we started discussions with the builder we have gone to site :-)
